What makes advertising the thing I wish to pursue? In our society it is often viewed as sheer poison for the mind. A tool used simply for getting people to buy more of a product they don't really need or to make them see that they need that product in order to fit in with society. These negative beliefs about advertising I feel are relatively commonplace in our world. Yet I wish to pursue advertising in order to understand this ability and power that it holds. This power to captivate audiences and convince them that what the advertisement is talking about is something that is very important. This ability that advertising has is a rather interesting psychological occurrence and so I wish to learn as much as I can about it. I want to see what it takes to captivate people with an advertisement.
